Ian Worby, CEO of UCB Australia, visited Yarrawonga, Victoria, to ‘flick the switch’ on Vision Radio Network’s 300th station on 29th August 2007. The moment was filled with anticipation as more than six communities were close to becoming the 300th station.

The good news is that after a battle of almost two years, our license application has been published in the SA Government Gazette on 9th July.
The REAL BREAKTHROUGH is that the license is described as being for ” A national community of interest, Christian, All nine provinces of SA”.

Now that’s a transmitter!
Pictures of the arrival in South Africa of the first digital Mediumwave DRM enabled transmitter in SA.
Radio Pulpit bought the transmitter to replace their old MW transmitter, covering the north of SA, and is planning to switch to dual analoque/digital transmissions in the near future.

More good news! UCB Africa has been deeply involved in the building of the production studio in Gurue, Mozambique. CEO Rudi Petersen reports with pleasure that this is now completed.
