Welcome to Europe’s Newest Affiliate!
Dec 19th, 2009 by Jim Reyes

It’s a great pleasure to welcome Nandor Remes and UCB Hungary as our newest affiliate in Europe. Nandor launched the Hungarian Word for Today in 2005. He was supported by Seers Ministries who printed 2000 copies for distribution each quarter. UCB Hungary is now printing and distributing 31,000 copies a quarter and has tremendous opportunity for growth. Alastair Mc Roberts from UCB U.K. is the UCBI representative on the Hungarian board. His management and human resources skills are providing valuable assistance to Nandor and his team as they gear up for fulltime ministry and expansion in 2010.
An Update from Nandor:
“At the end of 2008 we started to print the Hungarian Word for Today in Hungary, Budapest. It was because a Hungarian Christian printer offered us a very good price and we have seen God’s hand in this. This way the Hungarian Word for Today got a nice outlook and also more pages in it. So we already distributed 15000 copies in the first quarter of 2009.
In the middle of 2008 we contacted to UCB UK and from that time we had been working on starting UCB Hungary Foundation by which we can continue the ministry here in Hungary in partnership with the UCB Family. Praise God for the fact that UCB Hungary Foundation was registered on the 14th of September in 2009! Now we are ready to do more and more as God provides it for us. Up until the October of 2009 we already had one half time administrator who started to work in October 2008. From the November of 2009 I also started to work half time in the ministry as there is more and more work to do. We praise God that he provided the volunteers and also the money to grow and reach so many people in Hungary.
In 2009 we distributed almost 87000 copies of the Hungarian Word for Today.
Now for the first quarter of 2010 we are distributing 31000 copies. This is all the gift of God and we are amazed of what God is doing in this ministry. It’s very good to hear the testimonies of the readers how God blessed them by the Word for Today. We also have our website where people can read the Hungarian Word For Today daily and they can also send their requests for the book. “
