Mighty Men Conference 2009 – a mighty miracle

FROM NATAL AFRICA.
April 26, 2009 … 200,000. These numbers rang very deep in the heart of Angus Buchan as he was used by God to lead men to Christ during the Mighty Men conference in KwaZulu-Natal, Africa. It is no small feat, we have a big God and He has Big plans. If He wanted 200,000 to come to Him in a conference He can… and He did. What a great testimony to the world’s thirst for a Savior.
But this proved to be more than the miracle of the multitude, it was a marvelous miracle for one man… Angus himself. Extremely exhausted from preaching 3 days under the sun, Angus grew weaker and weaker until he collapsed backstage. Paramedics later assessed the medical situation as a possible heart attack, his vital statistics was not promising. But still, even when knowing that this could be his last breath, Angus kept saying “ this is a war; the Devil will attack every where”.
News later on leaked out, causing everyone to pray for Angus medical situation. Thirty minutes after the collapse backstage, Angus was taken to his house by car. A paramedics helicopter was later required when they were unable to sustain medical procedures in his home. To everyone’s mind, this may very well be the day Angus meets the Lord face to face. Oh what a glorious welcome to the Lord’s loving arms… but He had other plans.
The next morning, to everyone’s surprise, Angus was well. Was it a miracle, YES IT WAS. His medical specialists final diagnosis — NOTHING, NO ABNORMALITIES WHATSOEVER. It’s as if there was no heart attack to begin with. Was Angus confined in the hospital for batteries of tests? No. He got up from bed and went straight back to the conference to preach the last day. And as usual… thousands came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior.
What a miracle!
