UCB Philippines: The Gift of Word 4U 2Day

The Edge Radio Davao had a wonderful time giving away gift-wrapped Word 4U 2Day booklets to the staff of major Davao malls. I personally didn’t mind taking photos with them as they all seem to be “game” with smiles and jolly laughter for the gift bearer.
One staff commented to say that The Edge Radio is “different”, noting that we were the ones giving gifts rather than those who they say normally would ask for gifts from their stores.
Malls are a significant sub-culture area in the Philippines. Every Filipino loves to go to malls either to shop or just go ’round ‘n ’round “window shopping”. If you see a Filipino, there’s a high chance they are carrying a shopping bag! Ha!
Well, we pray that we will be able to give them future devotionals, to start that small habit of reading this devotional before their work shifts. Aiming ultimately for a renewed commitment to Jesus and the Bible.
