UCB UK: Media group looks to join UCB family

Last week UCB Europe CEO Ian Mackie met with the supporters and Mananagement of Day-one radio in Wolverhampton in the UK. They had been broadcasting for a year or so in their local area using a community licence and delivering their product on the DAB platform.
However, they felt led to join with UCB and become involved with the larger vision to cover the UK with digital Christian formatted radio and at a meeting with supporters Ian shared the UCB vision.
It was also the very first time that both of UCB’s digital stations were heard in Wolverhampton as the signal had only been turned on the night before the meeting ( a week ahead of the official launch).
It was a deeply moving moment to hear both signals booming into the room on the radio!
Ian Mackie said ‘It was a a pleasure and an honour to speak to the group and share what has happened to UCB in the UK over the last 20 years, we look forward to working together with them and broadcasting great programs made in Wolverhampton and provided to the greater UCB family’
It is hoped that the Day-one group will begin to provide programming content… not only for UCB UK, but for the rest of the affiliates around the world.
