Love Botswana, what a cool name eh? It is the ministry affiliated with UCB and run in Botswana by Jerry Lackey and his wife. Last year they applied for a national licence, that was declined on a techicality, but they will apply again! If you click here, you will see how UCB is available in Africa. Jerry and his number one Linda Madeksho were at the UCB Africa regional conference in mid-September and it was great to hear their vision. Currently they have a production facility and are producing programs such as:
- Reach for Life, (40 studies and a bible go with this program)
- 13-21. ..a program for youth aged…you guessed it …13-21!
- One on One which is an Afrcian version of Adventures in O, and;
- A program called Beyond the Desert.
Some of these programs might be of interest to you. Jerry took the devotions one morning at the conference and just set the day up…a gifted speaker….he would make a fantastic interview…..has an amazing story…and when you hear what he has been through you’ll just be amazed.
They have also adopted a beautiful little girl…how that happened is well worth an interview…won’t tell you the story but when you call him, have a hankie close by!
