Radio Andrea 2007 Highlights

Hi everyone, Rudi Petersen here. Love to keep you updated of wonderful news from Radio Andrea highlighting God’s blessings for the year 2007. We are extremely grateful for the kind and regular support received from UCB Africa and other supporters during this critical year. Radio Andrea is up and running ! A miracle from the Lord.
1st highlight : The official opening of Radio Andrea in April! Enjoyed by over 600 guests including his Excellency the South African Ambassador, and Dr Roelf Petersen, CEO of UCB Africa. It was a momentous and joyous occasion, with all-night prayer and rejoicing, and a memorable feast, thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
2nd highlight : A very strong signal propagation! A radius of 70km around Antsohihy, and as far away as 110 km in certain areas, potentially reaching about 500,000 people.
3rd highlight : Very good general feedback! People on the market, and in the bush-taxis, and the authorities, listen in, and react favourably ; even people on the beach listen to our Bible readings and other programmes in their own dialect Sakalava, which is very much appreciated.
4th highlight : A wonderful team! We currently have three ladies and three men as studio personnel, three night watchmen, and a housekeeper. Several local volunteers regularly present their own programmes
5th highlight : God-sent gifts! A total stranger is sending us a 40 KVA self-starting diesel generator, arriving in October, as well as a team to install it (they will also regularly come to do the maintenance) !
