Hi Rockers, hope this blog finds you and yours well. Winter is coming to an end in the Southern Hemisphere…and I guess Summer in the North! The World Rugby Cup is just days away… Go the ‘ All Blacks’!!!!!!!
A couple of days ago, Al Baker ( UCB Canada’s good looking Operations Manager ) interviewed Nancy Gibbs, an editor-at-large for Time magazine. She and a colleague, Michael Duffy, wrote a book called ‘The Preacher and the Presidents – Billy Graham in the White House’ .
AL writes ‘ It’s a fascinating account of Graham’s relationship with the U.S.Presidents he both befriended, and counselled. The questions the Presidents asked, and the faith issues they grappled with, are amazing.
Eisenhower…. wondering whether or not he’ll go to heaven, Kennedy…. and the ‘ Second Coming’ , the stability he provided for Lyndon Johnson and his Billy Graham provided for Johnson’s Family
The book is a great testimony to the power of God working thru a humble servant who boldly spoke the Truth to power ‘.
