Free Music…..faster!

Al Baker, the PD at UCB 102.3 FM in Canada has the details on 2 free music download services…..this is especially helpful if you have been having difficulty in getting new releases….now…you won’t get every release you want from them but it is a huge start….you can can contact Al for further info at al@ucbcanada.com ….here’s what he has to say:
Hope you’re enjoying your spring/summer/autumn/winter. To get on board with the Promo Only service, stations need to send an email to Derek Jones at Derek.Jones@wbr.com and he will pass the request on to perhaps Kenny Rodgers or someone else (I’m not sure) and they’ll get you set up. Once active, the service will send each subscriber email updates of newly-released singles to download. The good news is they’re wav files.
For the Southern Gospel music service, stations need to send an email to Charles Brady at southerngospel@gmail.com. Once you’re signed up and you login, go to “Lists” and choose the option of your choice for access to the songs, click the red “down arrow” and you’re in business. The music on this service is on mp3 files and the Promo Only music is on wave files.
Guys - I’m hooked up with both the sites mentioned, and find them very useful especially Promo Only, which gives alternative mixes to suit different formats (AC, Inspo, CHR), as well as album versions and radio edits. I am happy to recommend it!
